NOW HIRING!! A-Line is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist / HR Generalist to support a dynamic Human Resources team. This role is ideal for an HR professional with experience in full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration. The position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting recruitment efforts, enhancing employee experience, and maintaining key HR processes.

Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: $27.00–$29.00/hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (60%)
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to gather job requirements and develop position descriptions.
- Create and post job openings using applicant tracking systems.
- Coordinate job postings across multiple recruiting platforms, including Indeed, LinkedIn, and Handshake.
- Screen applications and verify candidate qualifications.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Conduct reference and background checks and coordinate pre-employment screening.
- Prepare employment offers and onboarding documentation.
- Process personnel transactions for new hires, transfers, and promotions.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and employee files.
Employee Engagement (20%)
- Assist with employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
- Support charitable campaigns and employee appreciation programs.
- Participate in culture-building activities and employee engagement projects.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to recognition programs and internal initiatives.
Organizational Support (10%)
- Maintain organizational charts and position records.
- Update organizational structures to reflect staffing changes.
- Prepare and distribute updated organizational charts as needed.
Additional HR Responsibilities (10%)
- Maintain HR records in accordance with record retention policies.
- Process employment verification requests.
- Assist with internal HR communications and employee newsletters.
- Support HR meetings and maintain HR-related intranet content.
- Perform additional HR administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge of:
- Human Resources principles and practices
- Employment laws and regulations
- Recruitment and selection processes
Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- HRIS or PeopleSoft experience preferred
- Data management and recordkeeping
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
Ability to:
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Build positive working relationships with employees and hiring managers.
- Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Conduct effective candidate interviews.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
- Work collaboratively while supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems such as Taleo or similar ATS platforms.
- HRIS experience, including PeopleSoft or comparable systems.
- Experience coordinating onboarding and new hire processes.
- Previous Human Resources Generalist or Talent Acquisition experience is highly preferred.
