BSA - Bookkeeping/Tax
Position - BSA - Bookkeeping/Tax Location - 1 week/month onsite Westlake, Tx VISA - UC,GC Duration - 12 Months
College graduate in a technical degree that is driven to meet, or exceed, expectations.
Transferable expertise in post trade lifecycle for Equity & Derivatives products. Knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
Proficient in conducting business analysis, writing requirements, designing, maintaining dynamic solutions & translating strategic objectives into action.
Collaborated with database and solution architects to develop new solutions, creating relevant artifacts to deliver a functional specification, while conducting data mapping & data modeling exercise of new requirements.
Proficient in defining user stories to successfully execute on define-build-test cycles.
Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (AWS) and SaaS platforms a plus. Deep understanding of Agile development methodology. Ability to research and learn new technologies. Proficient using Confluence & JIRA. Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
Ability to think strategically and accept technical direction.
Willingness to understand and pick up something new on a continual basis. Must be able to translate business requirements and help prioritize delivery. Communication, teamwork, and empathy skills to deliver results in multi-disciplined team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Motivated, self-directed, results oriented.
Nice to have experience in: Income Tax system, particularly as it relates to tax informational form filings (e.g., 1099-B, 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, 1042-S, etc.) Client Broker dealer reporting (FOCUS, Net-capital 15c3-1, Customer reserve 15c3-3, etc.) Exposure to cloud-based technologies.
