JOB BRIEF: The leasing consultant is the property’s sales representatives whose primary duty is to greet prospects; professionally preset the features and benefits of their assigned property, secure lease agreements from qualified persons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, American with Disabilities Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments.
Must have complete knowledge of Fair Housing Compliance laws pertaining to apartment
Must have complete knowledge of Tax Credit Laws.
Enter guest card/applicants into AppFolio once the prospects calls, emails or walk in
Welcome and show property to prospective new residents. Also, handle incoming phone calls and emails from prospective new residents and complete appropriate paperwork with the applicant as efficiently as possible. (In take applicants’ application, documents, and rental information.)
Immediately after paperwork is received it should be organized and processed for compliance review
Arrange the move in with Maintenance Manager and execute the lease agreement.
Organize the file after move in and upload TIC,
Open daily communication with current residents
Receive and enter work order documents for maintenance personnel
Walk property and units for inspection purposes.
