Please click here to learn more about our locations. Job Description The Surgical Technologist prepares and assists surgical procedures during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for providing for and anticipating the surgeons’ needs during a procedure while maintaining the sterile field, adhering to principles of aseptic technique, and ensuring safety with all counted items. Assists preparation for procedures by assisting with completion, wrapping, and processing of instruments in Sterile Processing. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program Certified Surgical Technologist BLS certification (or obtained within 3 months of employment) Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of one-year experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital operating room Pediatric and/or orthopaedic experience The pay range for this position is $21.74 - $32.62. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
