Advanced Information Technologist – Mid Level Cloud Engineer Company: The Boeing Company, Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Advanced Information Technologist – Mid Level Cloud Engineer for its Digital Infrastructure Segment in Saint Louis, MO. Location: Hazelwood, MO (100% onsite). Travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally. Required Security Clearance: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Position Responsibilities Orchestrate the installation and configuration of complex Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf (COTS) packages (e.g., Engineering tools, Product Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing Operations Management, Enterprise Resource Planning applications) on a cloud platform. Maintain COTS tools throughout the software lifecycle and document changes in the configuration management database. Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform, ARM, and Bicep to provision compute, storage, and networking resources required by COTS vendors. Collaborate with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to validate architecture, manage software licenses, and ensure license compliance with vendor and security requirements. Assist in generating and collecting license dashboard metrics. Maintain consistency across development, test, and production environments to prevent configuration drift in proprietary application stacks. Optimize underlying cloud resources to meet vendor‑ and contract‑specified performance benchmarks and assist in scaling horizontally or vertically. Basic Qualifications (Required) Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience. 3+ years of experience with Public Cloud Platforms. 1+ year of experience with DevOps practices. Preferred Qualifications (Desired) Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems. Experience with Product Lifecycle Management Systems. Security+ Certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8140 Certification Requirements).
