Bring your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to an engaging school-based role supporting elementary and middle school students. This is a full-time contract opportunity near Cambridge, MA, working across both self-contained and inclusion settings. You’ll have the chance to make a significant impact by consulting and collaborating with educational teams to ensure effective IEP service delivery.
This position begins as a short-term contract, with the possibility to extend further based on internal district hiring needs. With a 35-hour work week, you’ll provide crucial behavioral and consultative support to diverse student populations at designated elementary and middle school sites. The district values credentialed professionals who can bring immediate value and prioritize positive student outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active BCBA licensure/certification valid in Massachusetts
- Demonstrated school-based experience required
- Comfortable supporting both elementary and middle school caseloads
- Familiarity consulting and collaborating in both substantially separate and inclusion classroom settings
- Able to work onsite and commit to a full-time, 35-hour schedule
- Must successfully complete both CORI and fingerprinting; CORI processing is required in person at the district’s main office
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver ongoing support, consultation, and collaboration for students with varying needs per IEP directives
- Partner with teachers and school teams to implement evidence-based behavioral strategies
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to foster student growth and success
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all state and federal guidelines
