Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (required)
• Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum, particularly K-2
• Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills
• Ability to modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual needs
• Collaborative spirit and reliability in team settings
• Commitment to nurturing a positive, inclusive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction tailored to K-2 students with ASD, fostering social, emotional, and academic growth
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams regarding progress and challenges
• Utilize evidence-based practices and behavior management techniques
• Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and compliance records
