Company & Role Overview

A new client to Springwood Executive is poised to acquire a new platform through buyout. An interesting business at the intersection of learning tech and enterprise software, the business delivers a B2B SaaS product to a clearly defined market which ensures a strong recurring revenue base. The CFO will be a critical hire pre-deal, designed to immediately be involved in shaping the investment thesis and future growth.

Three Key Responsibilities

• Partner with CEO and investors to define and execute the 5-year value creation plan.
• Manage M&A lifecycle including deal diligence, integration, and post-acquisition reporting.
• Build scalable finance infrastructure and systems to drive visibility across ARR, CAC/LTV and unit economics.

Three Key Experience Requirements

• Proven CFO within PE-Backed SaaS, track record scaling ARR from ~$15m ARR to ~$60m ARR (organic and M&A).
• Prior experience of PE-backed environments especially exposure to board and investor reporting.
• Low-ego leadership style; needs to be both strategic and hands-on.
