As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Logkeeper in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. You will use clear communication and technology to report observations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
