Sr Compensation Analyst

We are currently seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst for a rapidly growing wealth management firm known for its strong culture, continued expansion, and commitment to investing in its people.
Summary
The Senior Compensation Analyst will play a critical role in advancing compensation programs, analytics, reporting capabilities, and compensation infrastructure. This position will focus on data integrity, job architecture, market benchmarking, compensation planning, and reporting transformation while helping modernize compensation practices within a growing organization.
Responsibilities
Support the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programs including base pay, incentives, and recognition initiatives
Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders on offers, promotions, market adjustments, and compensation recommendations
Refine and maintain job architecture frameworks, job profiles, leveling structures, and job families
Conduct job evaluations, FLSA assessments, and market benchmarking analyses
Lead compensation data cleanup, validation, and standardization efforts within Workday
Identify and resolve data quality issues, process gaps, and reporting inconsistencies
Develop governance processes to improve compensation data accuracy and integrity
Build advanced compensation reports, dashboards, models, and analytics
Deliver insights on pay equity, market competitiveness, retention risk, and compensation trends
Support annual merit increase and bonus planning cycles through modeling and reporting
Assist with incentive plan design, administration, modeling, and documentation
Partner with HRIS, Finance, and business leaders on compensation initiatives
Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve reporting capabilities
Support the adoption of AI-enabled analytics and reporting tools
Create process documentation, training materials, and compensation program guides
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
7+ years of progressive compensation experience
Strong experience with job architecture, job leveling, and compensation benchmarking
Experience supporting annual merit and bonus planning cycles
Advanced Excel skills including modeling, data analysis, and scenario planning
Hands-on experience with Workday Compensation and advanced reporting functionality
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools preferred
Experience with HR data cleanup, transformation, or system optimization initiatives preferred
Exposure to AI tools and applications within HR or Compensation preferred
CCP certification preferred
Experience working within McLagan or similar job architecture frameworks preferred
