Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients according to standards of care and the nursing process
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, and develop a care plan with prescribed interventions to attain outcomes
- Implement the plan, coordinate care with the care team, and maintain a safe, healing environment
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and document in EPIC with accuracy
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned nursing staff; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education to ensure continuity of care

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS certification from an approved vendor; ACLS and PALS certifications required (AH/ARC)
- Minimum two years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BSN preferred
- EPIC experience required
- Ability to work in a Med-Surg/Tele unit with weekend rotation
- Travel-ready; able to meet assignment start date and duration
