Quick Offer: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Family Medicine

Pay Rate: $21.19–$32.85/hour (based on experience)
Location: Newport, NH 03773

Start Date: October 19, 2026
Shift: Day Shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Shift Notes: Possible schedule until 7:00 PM on Mondays and/or Wednesdays

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients; prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for procedures.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist providers with patient examinations and treatments.
• Handle patient calls and schedule appointments and procedures.
• Register new patients and maintain medical records.
• Assist with patient billing, insurance forms, and other documentation.
• Collect and process routine laboratory specimens.
• Operate and maintain clinical equipment.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and sterilize instruments.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CMA certification (AAMA), RMA registration (AMT), or CCMA certification with completion of a 12-month D-H apprenticeship program.
• Pediatric experience required; must be listed on the resume.
• Current AHA BLS certification.

Preferred: Previous experience in an office or outpatient ambulatory care setting.
