You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.We are the industry leader in providing Customized Managed Accounts Solutions(CMAS) where we offer Retail scale investing via our world class investment products developed by JP Morgan Asset Management. Job responsibilitiesExecutes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsDevelops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systemsProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages - Java and/or Python.Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityDesign, develop, and maintain scalable microservicesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleExperience with CI/CD tooling — Enterprise CI/CD, and source control platforms such as Bitbucket/GitHubPractical cloud native experienceHands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment (e.g., for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation) with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage within team practices.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience in Site Reliability Engineering and/or DevOpsExposure to cloud technologiesExposure to Financial Models JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
