Administrative Specialist

Berns Landscaping Services, Inc., a distinguished company with a rich history with over 40 years in delivering comprehensive landscaping, grounds, and tree maintenance services, is on the lookout for a committed Administrative Specialist. This role is pivotal to our operations, offering the chance to leave a significant mark through exceptional customer service and efficient administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, with a strong focus on customer service and database management. Responsibilities Handle incoming calls and follow-up on customer service requests. Support the sales team with estimates and customer follow-up. Generate and reconcile purchase orders, and perform various administrative tasks as required. Ensure accurate data entry and maintain office files. Provide operations and sales support. Maintain a neat and organized workspace. Prepare correspondence and proofread documents. Operate company software, Microsoft Office suite, and standard office equipment. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of professional experience involving office practices, customer service, and organizational operating procedures. Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software packages. Excellent communication skills and superior customer service. Ability to prioritize, pay attention to detail, and solve problems. Well-organized, self-starter, and able to turn chaos into order quickly. Flexible, resourceful, and maintains a positive attitude.
