Cardiovascular Key Account Manager - Miami

Amgen Inc

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager for Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Boynton Beach territories. The role involves developing and executing strategic account plans, building relationships with healthcare decision-makers, and driving utilization of cardiovascular products across health systems and hospitals.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business strategy and institutional needs
Meet regularly with opinion leaders and decision-makers in cardiology, lipidology, pharmacy, and P&T committees
Coordinate pull-through initiatives and access strategies across field teams and assigned accounts
Ensure compliant delivery of MAC-approved data and messages to support product utilization
Monitor account performance, market dynamics, and provide field intelligence to corporate teams

Requirements

Doctorate degree and 2+ years sales or account management experience
Master's degree and 4+ years sales or account management experience
Bachelor's degree and 6+ years sales or account management experience
3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, and hospital reimbursement mechanisms
Understanding of CMS policies, Medicare processes, and payor systems
