Regional Nurse Education Specialist - RN

Role Overview Lead the development and implementation of clinical education strategies to improve staff competency and clinical outcomes in a long-term care setting. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver comprehensive training programs, including orientation and specialized skills training (e.g., wound care, infection control). Conduct needs assessments to identify educational gaps and develop tailored curricula. Monitor staff competency, ensure compliance with standards and regulations, and support quality improvement initiatives. Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to education teams and clinical leaders. Implement policies, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support survey readiness and corrective actions. Travel routinely to facilities for on-site education and oversight. Stay current with regulatory requirements, best practices, and trends in post-acute and long-term care nursing. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license, graduate of an accredited Nursing school. MSN preferred; specialty certification strongly encouraged. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in Long Term Care or Post-Acute Care, with at least 5 years in education.
