Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify clients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.

• Implement therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other tailored approaches that support clients facing a variety of challenges, such as trauma, anxiety, and depression.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards to uphold our commitment to ethical practices.

• Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health experts to provide holistic, comprehensive care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through regular case consultations and peer review meetings, enhancing the quality of care offered.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them on their path to recovery.

• Stay updated on the latest mental health research and integrate this knowledge into your therapeutic practice to ensure the most effective, evidence-based care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve serving a diverse group of clients grappling with various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related conditions, and family dynamics. Each client presents a unique set of challenges, and your role is pivotal in guiding them towards stabilization and improvement of their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques that are tailored to the diverse needs of clients.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate the establishment of trust and therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills necessary for navigating complex client situations.
