About Taylor Hospital A Magnet‑designated hospital recognized as a healthcare leader since 1977. It offers specialty services that include 24‑hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, an inpatient rehabilitation facility and full‑service radiology, including advanced CT with cardiac scoring, fixed MRI (including pacemaker), cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK and elastography). Job Overview This RN Supervisor supports the nursing resource pool at Taylor Hospital, collaborating with a diverse team of staff from RNs, NAs, and Sitters across different units throughout the hospital. Scope of Work The Nurse Supervisor coordinates and organizes personnel and other resources to meet the patient care functions of the organization in a cost‑effective manner. They collaborate to provide crisis management, interpret policy and procedure, and assure timely and effective communication and collaboration between individuals and departments. The Nurse Supervisor represents organizational leadership across all venues on a 24‑hour basis and collaborates to make decisions and act on behalf of the leadership team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) – Required. Master's degree in nursing (MSN) – Preferred. Three years of relevant clinical nursing experience – Required. One year of relevant formal nursing leadership experience – required for external applicants. One year of relevant demonstrated informal leadership experience for internal applicants (may include but are not limited to charge‑lead nurse, charge nurse responsibilities, leadership on behalf of unit/site/system at Shared Governance Council). Currently registered as a Minnesota Certified Registered Nurse (RN) – Required. AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required. Weekly Scheduled Hours 28. Hours of Work 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. Days Worked 6 days per pay period: 2 × 12 and 4 × 8. Weekend Frequency Every other weekend.
