This position reports to the Principal and involves 187 duty days. The wage/hour status is non-exempt with a pay grade of AS01.
Qualifications
College hours, high school diploma or GED
Type 35 WPM with accuracy
Good communication skills
Handle confidential information
Ability to organize
Filing
Copy machine skills
Receptionist skills
Ability to speak Spanish fluently (Preferred)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle all telephone communications.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Greet and assist visitors and District personnel.
- Assist in planning for office needs.
- Assist in maintaining filing system.
Equipment used includes a personal computer, typewriter, printer, copier, and fax machine.
Working conditions involve frequent interruptions, maintaining emotional control under stress, and repetitive hand motions.
