Network Technician

As part of the Network and Security team, the Network Technician will provide support for network installations throughout the district. Under general supervision, this role is responsible for configuring and monitoring wireless access points, visiting sites to verify installations, and documenting issues for engineers to resolve.

• Configuring Wireless Access Points
• Monitoring Wireless Access Points
• Validating network installations
• Quality Control on network equipment

Skills/Qualifications

Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills needed to create instructions, respond to inquiries, and relay instructions to others. Strong attention to detail. Experience with basic networking and troubleshooting. Experience with Meraki Wireless networks. Experience with wireless testing equipment. Ability to articulate clearly technical issues.

Duration: 3- 6 months
