SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTANT
US Department of War
Duties
You will plan work to be accomplished, set short term priorities, and prepare work completion schedules.
You will document processes and validate account balances in order to full reconcile the account balances in the general ledger.
You will reconcile accounts and identify the cause of complex accounting irregularities that exist between accounting records and general ledgers.
You will identify material discrepancies and will recommend corrective actions through intensive coordination efforts and follow-up.
You will provide guidance as it relates to Military Sealift Command's financial statements and reports to keep the supervisor of the accounting division advised on financial matters to maintain fiscal integrity and accountability.
