Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ER patients, including triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; verify and document responses
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond rapidly to changes or emergencies
• Document care in the electronic medical record (Epic), ensuring accurate orders, assessments, and communication with the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to coordinate timely care and discharge planning

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
• Current Epic EMR experience
• Ability to work a night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a hospital setting
