Associate Director, Procurement Finance FP&A
AbbVie
Associate Director leading financial planning and analysis for the Procurement function at a pharmaceutical company. Develops financial strategies, manages monthly reporting, and provides strategic finance partnership to senior leadership while overseeing team development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives and goals
- Lead end-to-end financial planning and analysis for Procurement costs in Plans, Long Range Plans, and monthly reporting
- Oversee financial aspects of capital investments and integration activities
- Serve as strategic finance partner providing insights and recommendations to Procurement leadership
- Manage team of direct reports, fostering growth and maintaining high-performing finance function
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7–10 years progressive finance or accounting experience; FP&A experience highly desirable
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to direct teams and deliver results
- Expertise with SAP, BPC, and Excel; Power BI or similar analytics tools preferred
- Demonstrated experience with GAAP and financial analysis within corporate policies
- Strong communication and presentation skills with senior management support experience
- CPA, MBA, or relevant advanced degree preferred
