Location : Dallas, TX

Salary Range : $75,000 - $90,000

Schedule : Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)

Position Overview:

The Manager, Sales Operations & Planning serves as the operational backbone of the Sales organization, driving planning discipline, reporting accuracy, cross-functional execution, inventory management, and business process optimization. This role partners closely with Sales, Planning, Finance, Operations, Merchandising, Customer Service, and Leadership to ensure timely execution of key business initiatives, improve organizational alignment, and support profitable growth. The position owns critical sales operating rhythms including forecasting, S&OP, inventory reviews, sales reporting, strategic business updates, and sales meeting execution.

Essential Role Functions:

Sales Operations & Reporting

• Generate, analyze, and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc sales reporting.
• Develop insights and recommendations based on sales performance, forecast trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Prepare reporting and presentations to support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain opportunity and risk tracking processes to improve visibility and accountability.

Forecasting, Planning & Financial Management

• Partner with Sales Leadership to improve forecast accuracy and identify risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, including agenda development, reporting, meeting facilitation, and follow-up actions.

Inventory & Business Process Management

• Own the monthly Excess Inventory Review process, including analysis, reporting, presentation development, meeting facilitation, and samples.
• Monitor markdown, liquidation, and inventory reduction initiatives.
• Manage EDI priority tracking.
• Manage and ensure new set placeholders are accurate and maintained monthly within each sales pod.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and execution.

Project Management & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead project management efforts for key business initiatives and cross-functional programs.
• Track and manage enterprise initiatives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Support new customer onboarding processes and ensure cross-functional readiness.

Commercial Planning & Strategic Support

• Coordinate quarterly business update meetings.
• Develop and maintain the U.S. Men's Apparel Strategy Deck.
• Support leadership with strategic analyses, presentations, and special projects.

Sales Team Process Ownership

• Manage the sales team deliverables calendar.
• Own the National Sales Meeting process, including planning, logistics, agenda, execution, and post-event follow-up.
• Lead the advertising samples process, including communication, coordination, tracking, and execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Planning, Commercial Planning, Forecasting, or related business functions.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience forecasting demand, margins, and sales performance.
• Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Strong presentation development and executive communication skills.
• Proven project management and cross-functional leadership experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with inventory, forecasting, S&OP, and sales reporting processes preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
