Business AnalystWe are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support a large NYC government agency in gathering, documenting, and translating business needs into actionable technical requirements. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional and technical teams on high-impact public sector projects.Responsibilities:Perform extensive business and data analysis to support agency initiativesCoordinate with technical teams to document clear and comprehensive business and functional requirementsOversee and track project deliverables to ensure timely and successful completionApply understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) throughout project engagementsManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organizational oversightApply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address project challenges and roadblocksCommunicate effectively with stakeholders through strong verbal and written documentationRequired Qualifications:Solid understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyPrior experience working with or for a large government agency preferredImportant Note: This position requires candidates to be engaged on W2 basis only.
