Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Care
Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks, Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
- At least two years recent experience in the field: Required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients using established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Collect and analyze relevant data pertinent to the patient's health and formulate care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide patient care in a safe and supportive environment.
- Provide informational resources to patients, families, and team members to enhance understanding of care processes.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Compliance / Notes: All associates required to receive vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions applicable.
