Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Care

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks, Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients using established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Collect and analyze relevant data pertinent to the patient's health and formulate care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide patient care in a safe and supportive environment.
• Provide informational resources to patients, families, and team members to enhance understanding of care processes.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
