Scientific Group Leader
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a Scientific Group Leader to oversee laboratory operations, manage direct reports, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in a cGMP environment. The role combines hands-on scientific work with leadership responsibilities, including staff development, process improvement, and technical decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality policy implementation and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Manage direct reports through coaching, training, performance reviews, and succession planning
- Lead independent technical investigations including CAPA and impact assessments
- Monitor workflow, costs, and key performance indicators to meet customer service needs
- Propose and implement process improvements and LEAN initiatives to enhance productivity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in cGMP environment
- Authorization to work in United States without sponsorship
- Comprehensive understanding of instrumental and analytical theory
- Technical writing and root cause analysis skills
- Leadership and delegation capabilities
