Benefit Analyst (Remote)

Join Our Growing Team!A prominent General Agency is seeking an individual to work remotely as a Benefits Analyst.Candidate must be familiar with the employee benefits industry and the RFP process in particular. The position will consist of marketing ancillary lines with major insurance carriers. You will interface with carriers and brokers to gather the appropriate information from employers and then help develop cost analysis presentations. For those with less experience, further training will be provided. Candidates must have excellent written communication skills, as well as be detail oriented, organized, and willing to learn.Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 Annually, including a base salary and the potential for residual commission.ResponsibilitiesGather census, claims, and plan information from current clientsOrganize and submit requests to insurance carriersManage RFP process including all follow-up questions and timelinesBuild relationships with carrier sales representativesObtain Insurance License coursework (if not already obtained)Gain familiarity with PPACA and common industry terms and practicesQualificationsFurther training will be provided, but some employee benefits or related experience is requiredExcellent verbal/written and organizational skillsDetail oriented and ability to reprioritize with minimal supervisionComputer Proficiency – Especially in Word, Excel, and PowerPointBachelor's Degree and/or equivalent related experienceJ-18808-Ljbffr Archonbenefits
