As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Detail in West Hempstead NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students staff visitors and/or families by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings parking areas playgrounds athletic spaces and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits visitor activity and/or arrival and dismissal periods while following access control procedures and assisting with directional support and general site information.
• Support school-related operations by helping with traffic flow observing student and visitor interactions and communicating security-related concerns hazards and/or policy violations according to post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
