As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver in North Merrick NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. 07:00 AM - 04:30 PM

03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with school personnel and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings parking areas athletic spaces and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity during school and after-school hours following location protocols for entry identification and restricted area access.
• Support daily school operations by assisting with traffic flow monitoring common areas and reporting maintenance policy and/or behavioral concerns through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state county and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
