Job Description
As a Armed Security Officer - Apartment Patrol in Long Beach CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Armed Officer for a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas drive as needed and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication while responding to site needs with integrity. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings parking areas common spaces and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and site activity verify authorized entry when required and report maintenance concerns hazards and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
- Support incident response by preparing clear reports preserving relevant details and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or first responders when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
