Category Development Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Management, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in consumer packaged goods, retail, category management, shopper insights, sales analytics, or a related field.
• Experience analyzing syndicated, POS, loyalty, or consumer data to generate insights and drive business recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable stories and recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with customers and cross-functional business partners.
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of retail merchandising, assortment, pricing, promotion, or category management principles.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience conducting category reviews and delivering insights to customers or internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with syndicated data platforms such as Circana (IRI), NielsenIQ, Numerator, dunnhumby, 84.51, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting sales, category management, shopper insights, or customer development initiatives.
• Experience in the beverage, CPG, grocery, convenience, or retail industries.
• Familiarity with visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
