Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Provide therapeutic counseling services to individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based practices.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address client goals and are culturally sensitive to diverse backgrounds.
\n
• Utilize modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to effectively treat various mental health issues.

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.

• Document all clinical interactions in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in Electronic Health Records (EHR).

• Participate in regular team meetings to collaborate with colleagues and share insights that can enhance therapeutic practices.

• Maintain active participation in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field of marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Your ability to demonstrate respect and sensitivity while addressing individual needs is crucial. These clients may be dealing with issues such as trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and more, requiring a therapist who is adept at creating a trusting therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license compliant with state and national regulations.
\n
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish to provide bilingual therapy services.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health setting, engaging effectively with a range of clients in individual and family dynamics.

• A commitment to cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will also have:

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
