Download Here. » Account Director 1725 I St., NW, Washington, DC About this Position As LAI Video continues to grow and evolve in the marketing space, we seek an Account Director who can combine the agency’s successes with his or her own experiences to discover new opportunities and partners. A self-starter by nature, the Account Director should love meeting new people, learning about new industries, and working the room. As Account Director, you will be expected to generate new business opportunities before leading our creative team through the proposal process. Whether we are pitching a commercial concept for a local business or designing a multi-faceted, multi-year digital campaign for a non-profit, you will be the main contact for a client, guiding them through a rewarding client experience and, hopefully, a long-lasting relationship. Qualifications 7+ years equivalent work experience Excellent written and verbal skills with superb email etiquette Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships Strong LinkedIn network Experience in ad agency, government contracting and / or content creation (programming) a plus Knowledge of marketing and media trends a plus Culturally aware and an all around decent person Responsibilities Find new client accounts Act as main point of contact through proposals and production Work with the team to pitch new ideas, draft budgets, and write proposals Negotiate sales and contract terms Close business and meet sales goals Build long-lasting relationships with prospects and partners Attend social and professional events Regularly update CRM records Compensation and Benefits LAI Video is part of Leading Authorities, Inc. is based in Washington, DC.
