Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, on-site contract position calls for a skilled Special Education Teacher—one role caters to elementary students, while the other works with secondary learners. Both positions involve managing a case load of approximately 10 students, ensuring they receive the dedicated support and educational opportunities they deserve.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid low-incidence teaching license (must be active and included prior to submission)
• Experience teaching students with significant disabilities, preferably in school settings
• Ability to deliver individualized instruction and accommodations tailored to specific needs
• Strong collaboration skills for working with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
• Commitment to in-person teaching; remote/virtual arrangements not available
• Understanding of IEP planning, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective, differentiated lesson plans addressing unique student abilities
• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for all students on the case load
• Facilitate a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere promoting academic and social growth
• Collaborate closely with related service providers, general education staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold education standards and legal requirements
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
