Patient Care Coordinator

The Medical Assistant supports clinical and administrative operations to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery. This role works closely with providers and care teams to assist with patient intake, clinical procedures, and documentation while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. Key Responsibilities Room patients and assist with patient intake, including vitals and medical history documentation Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits and minor procedures Perform clinical tasks within scope of practice, such as injections, specimen collection, and EKGs (as applicable) Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and coordinate follow-up care Update and maintain accurate patient records within the EMR Verify insurance information and assist with front-office support as needed Communicate with patients regarding care instructions, test results, and follow-up needs Maintain infection control, safety standards, and clinic cleanliness Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient clinic operations Qualifications Clinical and/or administrative experience in a healthcare setting Familiarity with EMR systems Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and medical terminology Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Addison Group
