RN - PACUHours: 8 hours, 10 hours, 12 hours shifts, dependent on needs of surgical scheduleOn Call: Approximately one day every 11 days during the week, one weekend every 11 weeks – on rotating basisRequired: Must be proficient in ambulatory surgical setting and phase I/II recovery setting; proficient at IV starts; proficient at recognizing aberrant cardiac rhythms; BLS, ACLS, PALS certification; must be proficient with EPIC charting; plan to hit the ground runningAbout the Unit: This is a fast-paced ambulatory surgical department who has experienced a recent large volume, low acuity expansion of patients; types of surgeries performed here include: total joint, orthopedic spine, arthroscopic ACL/PCL repair, repair of fractures – hip, wrist, etc.
