Registered Respiratory Therapist PRN Pediatrics. Responsibilities Prioritizes work appropriately and completes assignments in a timely fashion. Completes all required documentation with special attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrates competency in proper airway care including airway suctioning, oral and nasal airway care, cuff pressure monitoring, and extubation. Demonstrates competency in routine patient assessment and correctly recognizing and interpreting respiratory dysfunction. Performs quality control procedures as required. Maintains conduct that reflects the Company’s values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct ethics and compliance program. Gains competency in new procedures in a timely fashion as they are incorporated into the department’s practices. Other duties as assigned, including periodic assignment as a lead therapist during shifts. Reflects SDH Service Excellence standards in every interaction. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date. PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
