Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide expert clinical pharmacy care within inpatient hospital settings through a 12-week contract assignment. This role involves supervising pharmacy technicians, overseeing clean room operations, and facilitating effective communication with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. The position supports two hospital sites with a combined total of 65 beds and utilizes the EPIC electronic medical records system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical pharmacy duties to optimize patient outcomes
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and safety
• Oversee clean room procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care plans
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and communication of clinical interventions

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacist license to practice in Ohio
• Proven experience in inpatient clinical pharmacy practice
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cohesively with interdisciplinary teams

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Work required every fourth weekend

Location:

• Two inpatient hospital sites in Shelby, OH, including a 25-bed and a 40-bed facility
