• Deliver one-on-one speech therapy sessions emphasizing language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and families to establish cohesive care strategies.
• Empower patients and their families through education, enabling them to support progress outside of the clinical environment.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care throughout their recovery journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Commit to professional development through continuous education and collaborative exchanges with peers.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Required Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of starting employment.
