Guest Service Agent - PT

Job Description The Guest Service Agent will be based at the reception of The Hoxton, DTLA. Ideally, you’ll join just before we open our DTLA doors and help see us through the pre-opening and opening of the property. You’ll be responsible for providing a naturally friendly, helpful, and responsive level of service to all our guests from arrival to departure. You’ll play a hands‑on role in the successful opening of The Hoxton’s first US property. What you will do? Check in/check out guests, manage billing, and ensure accurate guest data collection. Communicate any guest issues that arise. Execute selling strategies and work with the assistant front office manager to achieve maximum occupancy. Inform guests about hotel amenities, restaurants, and surrounding attractions. Provide local dining, shopping, and activity recommendations. Monitor public area spaces for cleanliness and guest assistance needs. Assist guests with luggage storage and package retrieval. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while solving challenges. Help teammates across housekeeping, sales, and restaurants to ensure smooth operations. Follow health & safety standards, fire and security procedures, and maintain a safe work environment.
