Restaurant General Manager

SkyBridge Luxury & Associates has partnered with an acclaimed fine dining restaurant in Chatham, Massachusetts to identify an experienced General Manager to lead all aspects of the restaurant's operations. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hospitality leader with a passion for exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and team development in a high-end dining environment. The General Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across all front-of-house operations while partnering closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless execution, financial performance, and an elevated guest experience. This individual will be responsible for cultivating a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement while maintaining the restaurant's reputation for outstanding cuisine and hospitality. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership for all front-of-house operations. Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain a high-performing management and service team. Deliver an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the highest hospitality standards. Partner closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless collaboration between the dining room and culinary operations. Drive revenue growth while managing labor, payroll, food & beverage cost controls, and overall profitability. Analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and key operating metrics to achieve business objectives. Maintain excellence in service execution, reservation management, and guest recovery. Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, communication, and employee engagement. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations. Build relationships with local guests, resort guests, community organizations, and VIP clientele. Continuously evaluate service standards and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and the guest experience. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience within a fine dining, luxury hotel, private club, or destination restaurant . Proven success leading high-volume, upscale dining operations. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor controls, and profitability. Demonstrated leadership experience developing management teams and fostering employee engagement. Exceptional guest relations, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong wine, spirits, and food knowledge with a commitment to elevated service standards. Experience with luxury hospitality brands, Forbes-rated properties, Michelin-recognized restaurants, Relais & Châteaux, or other high-end dining concepts is highly preferred. Ability to lead in a fast-paced, service-driven environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Preferred Background Candidates with experience from luxury hotels, destination resorts, acclaimed independent restaurants, Relais & Châteaux properties, Forbes Four- or Five-Star hotels, Michelin-recognized restaurants, Auberge Resorts Collection, Montage, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Rosewood, or similar luxury hospitality organizations are strongly encouraged to apply.
