Automotive Transmission Tech | Up to $77 Flat Rate | 30-Hour Guarantee Location: Selma, TX Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Pay Rate: $33–$45 Flat Rate (B-Level) | $50–$77 Flat Rate (A-Level) Pay Type: Flat Rate Pay Schedule: Weekly Guarantee: 30-Hour Weekly Guarantee The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced Transmission Technician to join a busy independent automotive repair shop in Selma, TX. If you have at least 2 years of professional transmission repair experience and enjoy diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing automatic and manual transmissions, this is an excellent opportunity. You’ll work in a well-equipped shop with consistent workflow, modern technology, ongoing training, and a team that values quality workmanship. What You'll Do Diagnose transmission concerns on domestic vehicles. Remove, rebuild, repair, and replace automatic and manual transmissions. Perform transmission-related diagnostics, electrical testing, and drivability repairs. Complete repairs from diagnosis through final quality inspection. Perform related drivetrain and differential repairs as needed. Document digital vehicle inspections, repair recommendations, and repair notes using Tekmetric. Communicate repair findings with the service team. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Deliver quality repairs while maintaining strong productivity. What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of professional transmission repair experience . Strong A-Level Technician or experienced B-Level Technician. Experience diagnosing and repairing automatic and manual transmissions. Ability to complete repairs independently from start to finish. Strong computer skills and experience with shop management software. ASE Certifications are a plus. Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
