Configuration Management Analyst

Position Description Directly support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, California. The role includes the following duties: Responsibilities Develop or acquire a Configuration Management System for creating, tracking, and retrieving controlled documentation. Develop and maintain cybersecurity configuration management toolsets and workflows for RDT&E lab configurations. Develop and modify CM plans, policies, and procedures. Provide life cycle management of hardware and software configuration items. Maintain a configuration management library of documentation, including lab accreditation artifacts, change control documentation, network diagrams, computer log histories, incident reports, and meeting minutes. Collaborate with IT operations teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date configuration information is available. Technical Skills Experience with Atlassian Jira Projects, Jira Helpdesk, and Wiki. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Planner. Experience with Microsoft Office 365. Experience with Microsoft Power Apps. Qualifications At least three (3) years of experience in configuration management and analysis. Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge or experience with CM tools, creating and maintaining configuration baselines, and implementing the CM discipline for the entire life cycle of a system. Education BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant technical discipline. Compensation Base hourly rate: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour.
