Other duties may be assigned.Implements operational strategies in assigned area(s) to assure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, sales, human capital, cost and profitabilityAccountable for assigned area's key performance metrics including machine and labor efficiencies and provides guidance to production associates to ensure scorecard objectives are metSupports capacity planning process to meet internal and external customer on-time-delivery demandsCollaborates with cross-functional leaders to support continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellenceProvides guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the salaried and hourly production team, working closely with direct reportsInteracts with key stakeholders to provide technical support and/or resolve order problems or complaintsMaintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publicationsEducation & ExperienceHigh School diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 4 years of relevant experience requiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processesKnowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and siteKnowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products or product componentsKnowledge of day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of a manufacturing facilityKnowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facilityKnowledge of technologies and applications used in manufacturing products and in the optimization of manufacturing processesPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentPrimarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office settingFrequent walking and standing requiredOccasional travel may be requiredOccasional lifting up to 25 lbs.Two companies, one vision.Menasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
