Accounting Manager

I am looking for a Accounting Manager to join a growing healthcare organization operating a multi-site outpatient clinic network in Brentwood, TN. Why this role? High-visibility opportunity to shape accounting processes and controls for an expanding clinic network, with strong potential to grow into a team leadership role Direct partnership with the CFO and revenue cycle leadership on reporting, budgeting, and operational strategy Backed by a stable, well-established parent organization — offering long-term security alongside meaningful ownership over your work Opportunity to build and improve scalable systems and processes as the organization continues to grow Entrepreneurial, culture-first environment suited to a proactive self-starter who's comfortable operating with autonomy Key Responsibilities Prepare, compile, and analyze financial statements and reporting across all clinic locations Own month-end close responsibilities and support the annual budgeting process, including budget-to-actual variance review Oversee revenue billing processes and the full revenue cycle, from patient encounter through payment Manage the accounts receivable process, including regular reviews with clinic-level managers Ensure proper recording and control of patient payments and insurance claim data Track and manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) spending Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation Support financial and accounting due diligence and integration for clinic acquisitions Develop and implement healthcare accounting best practices and internal controls Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or closely related field) from a four-year college or university Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare accounting Minimum 3 years of experience within a multi-site healthcare organization Strong working knowledge of GAAP in a healthcare setting Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and related billing/AR workflows Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment and independent decision-making ability Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, evolving environment Must be able to work onsite in Brentwood, TN (some flexibility possible after initial onboarding period) #J-18808-Ljbffr Synergy Search
