Job Description

As a Security Officer - Overnight Warehouse Patrol in Mesa, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarms, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
