Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to gain insight into their unique mental health needs, utilizing diagnostic tools and evidence-based methodologies.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions, tailoring therapeutic approaches to effectively assist clients in managing their mental health challenges.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions—ranging from support groups to psychoeducational classes—that address common themes and issues within the client population.

• Develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans, setting clear, measurable goals and interventions that address each client’s specific circumstances.

• Offer crisis intervention services, ensuring clients receive immediate support and risk assessments when faced with emergency situations.

• Stay current with the ever-evolving mental health landscape through ongoing professional development, seminars, and training, integrating new methods and findings into practice.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers—to deliver holistic and coordinated care to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will vary in age and background, often encompassing individuals who experience emotional, psychological, or behavioral challenges. You will be instrumental in guiding them through their healing journeys. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a valid mental health counselor license in New York State, demonstrating your competency through passing recognized examinations and fulfilling the necessary clinical hours.

• Completion of at least three years of supervised clinical hours, ensuring you possess hands-on experience in the field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
