About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director, Strategic Engagement to join their North America team. This pivotal role is focused on expanding client relationships, supporting business growth, and connecting clients with the expertise and resources they need to achieve their goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with senior leaders in the insurance sector, identifying client priorities, and shaping advisory engagements to address business challenges. Additionally, the role involves delivering strategic insights, supporting key initiatives, and leading the development of talent within the organization. Applicants for the Director, Strategic Engagement position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in carrier-facing roles. The role requires a proven track record in developing executive-level relationships, generating new business opportunities, and a deep understanding of insurance market dynamics and industry challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in broking, consulting, advisory, or other client-facing strategic leadership environments, and be adept at leading complex client engagements and cross-functional initiatives. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to analyze business issues, evaluate risk, and provide practical recommendations. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and the candidate should be willing to travel approximately 20%.
