Now Hiring: Receiving Specialist Manufacturing Receiving & Inventory Operations

Openwork is hiring an experienced Receiving Specialist for a manufacturing company in Oklahoma City, OK. This position involves receiving materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, operating a forklift, and supporting daily production needs.

Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of receiving experience, hands-on MRP system experience, and a current forklift certification.

Position at a Glance Location : Oklahoma City, OK 73179
Pay : $18.50–$19.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule : Monday–Friday, starting at 6:00 AM
Daily Availability : Must be able to work until at least 4:30 PM
Employment Type : Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire
Overtime : As needed based on business needs What You'll Be Doing

• Receive and unload incoming freight, parts, and raw materials

• Operate a forklift to move and stage materials safely

• Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips

• Enter receiving information and update inventory in the MRP/ERP system

• Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, and quantity discrepancies

• Report receiving issues to the appropriate department

• Move materials to designated storage or production areas

• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy

• Maintain receiving records and an organized work area

• Follow company safety and quality procedures

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Minimum 2 years of receiving experience — REQUIRED

• Hands-on MRP system experience — REQUIRED

• Current forklift certification and operating experience — REQUIRED

• Ability to verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips

• Experience with inventory tracking, data entry, and material handling

• Ability to communicate effectively and understand work instructions in English

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Availability to work until at least 4:30 PM daily — REQUIRED

• Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety

Experience with Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar MRP/ERP systems is relevant. Epicor experience is a plus.

Work Environment

• Non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility

• Industrial noise requiring participation in a hearing conservation program

• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds

• Standing, walking, sitting, and other physical activity throughout the shift

• Regular forklift operation and material handling

• Overtime as required by business needs
